Overdrive!

It's amazing how technology has taken over our lives. I was in class last night and on our ten minute break pretty much half the class either looked at their phones to text when out side to talk on the phone or was on their labtops. And even when class was in progress three students in front of me was on facebook. One has to ask, is this really what Leonard Kleinrock, Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Page, or Sergey Brin had intended. Before people were excited about meeting a person face to face, now all that excitment has drifted to how many friend request we have on our facebook pages or how many followers are on our twitter accounts. There has been countless claims about how technology is ruining future generations social skills, or technolgy has made it easier for people to access information. We can argue for decades about the benefits and downfalls of living online but the fact is, technology is here and from the looks of it theres no going back to the stone age.
